COMPOSITION
Each uncoated tablet contains
Glimepiride……………1 & 2 mg

INDICATIONS
Type II Diabetes Mellitus uncontrolled by diet and exercise alone.

DOSAGE
The usual starting dose of glimepiride as initial therapy is 1-2 mg once daily, administered with breakfast or the first main meal. The usual maintenance dose is 4 mg per day. The dose may be increased to a maximum of 8 mg. Regular monitoring of blood sugar is essential for determining the dose.
