COMPOSITION
Walaphage PZ 15 mg
Each film coated tablet contains
Metformin Hydrochloride I.P……….500 mg
(in sustained release form)
Pioglitazone………………………..15 mg
Walaphage PZ 30 mg
Each film coated tablet contains
Metformin Hydrochloride I.P………500 mg
(in sustained release form)
Pioglitazone………………………..30 mg

INDICATIONS
Type II Diabetes Mellitus uncontrolled by diet and exercise alone and monotherapy alone.

DOSAGE
1-2 Walaphage PZ tablets once daily with meals upto a maximum of 3 per day or as directed by the physician. Tablets should be swallowed whole and not crushed or chewed. Dosage must be individualized on the basis of both effectiveness and tolerance, while not exceeding the maximum recommended dose. The maximum daily dose of Metformin is 2000 mg and Pioglitazone is 45 mg.
